The short offers candid insights into how a one-time Catholic school boy named Joshua Grannell evolved into Peaches Christ, one of San Francisco’s most legendary and prolific drag queens. Appearing as both Joshua and his drag persona Peaches Christ, each side gets personal as they discuss transgression, catharsis, and how by becoming someone else, Joshua learned to love himself. Big week for us this week! Tomorrow our short, Better Known as Peaches Christ will be playing at Toronto’s Inside Out LGBT Film Festival (goo.gl/uVlxiz). Sunday we screen at Seattle International Film Festival (goo.gl/uwB05a). Will also be announcing a few new projects in the next couple of days!

From a mail order bride to the real life I Am Michael to Ms. Peaches Christ herself, these short films chronicle genuine LGBTQ stories. They’re real and they’re spectacular.
