Good morning, everyone! Has anyone been passed over for promotion at work or an award at school? Well, I can definitely relate to both of those things. I grew up in a very small town in the south, and I always saw the diversity. I graduated in 2006, and we still had separate black and white proms. Blacks were not allowed in the golf country club to be members but cooked the food for these members, a pub didn't allow people of color in their establishment, and there were areas in town that people of color couldn't live....
