OMMA & Metrc Lawsuit | April 29, 2021 | Green Social Feature
A class action lawsuit was filed against Oklahoma Medical Marijuna Authority (OMMA) and the State Department of Health attempting to stop the implementation of seed-to-sale tracking company called Metrc.
Attorney Ron Durbin Durbin Law - Viridian says the use of Metrc across Oklahoma will be a monopoly costing small business owners millions of dollars.
"We tried to resolve that issue with the OMMA without litigation," Durbin told Green Social after today's short court session.
OMMA agreed to a temporary restraining order on implementing Metrc.
OMMA will extend its inventory process period with Metrc, the state’s seed-to-sale tracking system through June 30, 2021.
Green Social spoke with many patients and participants in today's demonstration outside of the Okmulgee District Court to hear what the people also thought of the decisions made.
Ron and his team are continuing to push for better regulations in Oklahoma for the cannabis operations across the state.

The 420 celebration rolled on into Broken Arrow, OK at Entitled Health.
The Cannabis Advocate, Sheila Cleary, was there on-site with Oklahoma Sweet Grass to share her knowledge on Canna Quench along with many other fantastic brands like Honey Creek Labs and RPS2.
Entitled Health had a stage out back with local musicians and a dab bar.
