Naian lived in the Niskew Woods for nearly four decades as a Ranger. They would find their way to Tamah or Everwynn when they needed certain supplies, but for the most part, they preferred to be alone. It was never for a lack of love for people, but they don’t particularly find social interactions easy to navigate. It is much easier for them to appear every now and then, their quiet demeanor offering an air of mystery, gather their supplies and slip back into the woods once more. Since the Freeze, however, they realized that living alone now would be a death sentence, so they have been looking for other people to survive, and hopefully, thrive with. Perhaps they can find people who will enjoy their company, even if there is little conversation to be had.
