NDSU trailed Abilene Christian 17-3 before Jackson Williams' 100-yard kick return touchdown gave the Bison life

The Herd rolled after that, defeating the Wildcats 51-31 to advance to the FCS quarterfinals:

Will Mostaert spent his first three seasons with NDSU at defensive end before moving to defensive tackle in 2022

Following Dylan Hendricks' injury, Mostaert was moved back outside; he's coming off his best game of the season against South Dakota as well heading into the playoffs

Mostaert's flexibility has come in handy for the 'Alley Cats' in the second half of the season:

Quarterback Cam Miller, OPOY, and Marty Brown, Newcomer and Freshman of Year, headlined the awards for the Bison:
