🔓 Unlocking Time Freedom and Flexibility 🔓
Hey Freedom Seekers 🕊️
Being that FREEDOM is one of my highest values, I thought I’d address the topic of “Time Freedom and Flexibility” today⏳
Some of the things that have helped me create more Time Freedom and Flexibility in my life are….
📝 Prioritising Tasks:
Do something today that your Future-Self will THANK YOU for! 🙏😊
Focusing on my ‘most impactful’ goal aligned actions each day helps me maintain momentum with creating results in MY important life areas. I find when I have a clear path to follow each day… The majority of my time and energy is invested in the things that matter most to me.
Clear path = My morning routine, my DET’s (Daily Empowerment Tasks), my 3 to 5 TOP Goals/Objectives.
By Focusing on our high-impact activities that align with our goals/aspirations we can maximise time and productivity in those areas.
👥 Delegating Responsibilities:
What are you doing in your life that DOESN’T require your Direct Involvement?
Consider entrusting/empowering someone else to do these things, so that you can focus on what TRULY MATTERS to you.
One of the responsibilities I’ve delegated (stopped doing) is cooking dinners.
Simon, my partner, has been cooking our dinners for several months now… a task that I’m not-so-keen on, and a task that he enjoys a lot more than me.
As a trade, I do Simon’s laundry washing, etc… a task I’m fine with doing and enjoy more than cooking!
Simon keeps me fed at dinner time… I keep him in clean clothes
What tasks are you doing that you’d prefer not to?
Consider trading tasks with other household members or work colleagues so you’re all doing things that compliment your strengths/preferences.
🛡️ Setting Healthy Boundaries:
Establishing clear healthy boundaries in our lives helps to ensure we have dedicated time for the things that Matter Most to Us.
One of my 1st introductions to Healthy Boundaries was when I read the book “Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No… To Take Control of Your Life” by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend.”
Setting and maintaining Healthy Boundaries in my life has been important and beneficial to my Health and Wellness, and my productivity re: my important life areas. It’s also been an evolutionary process for me… as I evolve/change… so do some of my boundaries (what I will, or will not allow in my life)
📱💻 Embracing Technology:
By leveraging tools and apps to automate repetitive tasks and streamline our workflow for increased efficiency, we can free up time in our lives for more important stuff.
Something I love about my Online Business is the AUTOMATION we are able to leverage in this space.
Consider the repetitive tasks that you do regularly. Are you able to automate any of these using the technology available to you?
⏸️ Schedule Breaks:
Taking regular breaks to recharge our mind, body and spirit will help enhance our overall productivity and creativity.
Thankfully I’m able to enjoy a high-level of Time Freedom and Flexibility in my life, and am able to take regular breaks when I need to, at times that are convenient to me.
Are you able to take breaks whenever you need them?
Yes… that’s great! What do you do during your breaks/downtime?
No… Well, when in your daily/weekly life could you schedule some good quality break time for yourself? What time wasting activities can you minimise, to maximise the time you have for your goal-aligned actions or rest?
Remember, Time Freedom and Flexibility are within your reach, even amidst a busy schedule. By implementing these tips, you'll reclaim control of YOUR time and Design a Life that harmonises with YOUR goals/aspirations.
