337262 Portia and her 5 puppies, female GSD mix, 4 yrs. 50 lbs. HW positive. Portia's owners were evicted and they had no place for them to go. Portia had lived with another dog according to notes. Owner said he had her 4 years and that she is playful with dogs and cats. She has been around kids 2 and older. It does say she was an outside dog. Portia is super friendly here and allows all handling even with the puppies around. She has to be fed separately as she is not food friendly with her puppies. The puppies are about 6 weeks old and busy as can be. They follow mom everywhere and mom wishes she had some freedom I think. We need to find them a spot in rescue as the shelter is not good place for them to stay healthy and happy.
7/9 UPDATE: Puppies are around 6-7 weeks old now.
