Like the Great Apep, OBHYANTAR penetrates the depths of the primordial void and shatters the Orphic Egg. Having plumbed the cosmic depths and all dark spaces in between, OBHYANTAR now slithers forth and takes is rightful place as a new head on the militant hydra known as the Kolkata Inner Order. Twisting and contorting, this pugnacious entity spews from its venomous jaws two lethal secretions of poisonous gnosis, inflicting painful reverberations and toxin-filled visions of pure psychosomatic delirium. Victims will sink into caustic pre-creation, dispersing and dissolving within the collective unconscious as a ripple in the waters of a nightmarish, primal ocean. The lo-fi serpentine hiss of ’Abhayamudra’ and ’Sarpashirsha’ is primitive, harsh and minimal - viscerally bleak, hypnotic and trance inducing all while enveloping its victim in an acidic atmosphere of undulating dissonant clamor sonically reminiscent of Black Cilice, Sortilegia, Obskuritatem, and Mare. Bleak lo-fi black metal in vein of Black Cilice, Sortilegia, Obskuritatem, Mare and Katharsis. Murky, miasmal and malevolent - OBHYANTAR's first demo 'Abhayamudra' is a mythical reverberation of a chthonic call, revealed in the thunderous voice of an eternal opposition. 'Sarpashirsha' further plumbs the horrific depths of this aural netherworld, vomiting forth plutonian resonances and enveloping the mind's eye in an infernal, dreamlike haze.
