Just a girl and her food baby.
This is a super simple ceviche recipe that wonāt take you more than 10 minutes to make!
One of my amazing clients was telling me that she felt like she had been in a funk lately. She had little motivation to workout and track her food. This is the way out of Funky town:
1. Remember Progress is not linear.
2.Remember how far youāve come! (keep a list of non-scale victories for you to look back on)
3. Change up your programming. Add some bands, a pause, some pulses, etc., in order to keep things interesting!
4. Look up some new recipes that will make you excited about tracking again.
5. Reward yourself for your efforts! (I like to hit up my favorite coffee spots on my way to the gym when Iām feeling unmotivated)

If you want to start working out consistently, donāt depend on motivation. You wonāt ALWAYS feel motivated to workout. I donāt. What you should do is:ā
ā
Start with WALKING!!!!! You donāt have to start with any crazy lifts or weird trendy exercises. JUST WALK.ā
Slowly start increasing the amount of time or frequency you walk.ā
Start incorporating weight training during the times that youāve already carved out.ā
Make those times a PRIORITY. You donāt have to go into a gym but make sure that even when you donāt want to, you show up.ā
Create the habit and take note of how accomplished and good you feel after each session. THIS is your fuel. ā

Results come from consistency, not intensity. ā

Itās better to slowly build up to 100%, than to start off at 100% and stop after a week. You can do it, start off slow, and be proud of all your efforts!!
ā£At the beginning of competition prep I thought the coolest part would be watching my body change.... And it is VERY COOL to see your hard work paying off......BUTT(see what I did there... because Iām doing bridges.. for your butt.. aka glutes.. lol clever I know) there is still no better feel than getting stronger. ā

Itās so easy to think of progress ass (lmao this was a typo but NOW ITS JUST PUNNY) a number on a scale, or measured in inches. But there is SO MUCH MORE to celebrate. ā

Non-scale victories should be celebrated and in my opinion 2x as much as scale related victories. ā

Next time you:ā
-have clothes fit betterā
-can climb more stairsā
-can lift moreā
-can lift longerā
-track your food consistentlyā
-donāt need help carrying groceriesā
-are excited to workout and eat healthyā
