First and foremost, learning to not create EXPECTATIONS is important. We often find ourselves comparing to other creators because they have better resources to execute their work when we only have a phone and that’s totally okay!
Which leads us to FILMING, you probably see creators using professional cameras and cool tripods with some fancy lighting, yes, that will give your content some spice but you should only invest in better equipment if you are able to do so. Simply having a phone and something where you can make your phone stable, you’re good to go (I rarely use a tripod, for example). A simple ringlight will give you enough lighting to get you cool content, and make sure to use a white sheet to be your background.
After that, we have the EDITING department. This will be the essence of your content, the way you edit your videos. A lot of creators tend to edit their work on a computer with Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas or FinalCut but if you’re a mobile editor like me, you can use CapCut!
And when it comes to organizing your work, technology and it’s apps can be a lifesaver. Apps like Excel/Google Sheets and Notion to keep track of your journey and ChatGPT, for example, to help you create your own ideas and concepts.
Always remember that being yourself will be the key to grow your personal brand which will make brands feel drawn to you. 🤩
