It’s been a fantastic week of inspiration, guidance, and collaboration, helping people to renovate and build their dream homes. Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the launch of the Homes for All report at the House of Lords, organised by the Church of England and Nationwide Trust.
The event was a gathering of key players in the housing industry, with notable speakers like Vince Cable, former leader of the Liberal Democrats; the Archbishop of Canterbury; and David Orr.
I'm excited to attend the launch event for a new national housing strategy at the House of Lords tomorrow night.
It's a real honor to have been invited join this initiative instigated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and to sit at the roundtable to discuss and propose long-term strategies to solve our housing crisis.
This event marks the launch of a campaign to urge the main political parties to: a) agree on a cross-party vision for good housing, b) commit to developing a long-term strategy, and c) create a mechanism for accountability to Parliament.
Our country needs this, and it was great to be involved.
