In 1975 when my parents, Faye & Fred Waara moved to Heber, Utah, my dad had to join the American Legion just so he could have a beer after skiing.

The other night we went to Red Rock Brewery in Park City and sampled one of Jeff Magowan's favorite IPAs.

My dad would have cracked up reading the label.

And there's another Red Rock brew that I don't dare post the label, but you may catch the saying on Ron's new hat. :)

How my Pa is grinning like a Chessie Cat at this event.
Next to fishing & skiing he LOVED photography and filming.
I've got such a treasure trove of his recordings.
He produced a "How to" ski video in the 1950s.
And when video cameras came along, he was in HOG HEAVEN. Rarely did he go to the stream to fish or kayak without a camera. Just ask Garrett Brownell about how many he dunked! :)
