During my covid days in Poland, I decided to tell a little story of hope for the short film contest.

My film 'Every Superhero Needs a Sidekick' tells the story of 8 year old Leo believes that toilet paper will keep the virus at bay, after finding out that people are panic buying toilet paper.

The COVID pandemic has halted most human activities, leaving a devastating impact on many lives. But planet earth never stopped spinning. And despite the many restrictions, lockdowns and fear, we still found a way to tell our stories and express universal emotion through our art.

COVID NEWS - Wage Supplement in Malta, Extended

Government has announced that its COVID-19 wage supplement, which was originally announced for the months and April will be extended to May and June. Economy Minister Silvio Schembri said in a press conference this morning that despite the authorities planning to reduce social restrictions in the coming weeks, Government will continue to support businesses and jobs for two further months as it understood that economic activity will take longer to recover.

Thanks to Valletta Film Festival, Film Grain Foundation, our films are part of the Maltese selection for a market screening at the prestigious Clermont Film Festival 2019, thanks to the support of Arts Council Malta – Cultural Export Fund!

Collaboration is the backbone of every film. We’d like to applaud each member of our crew for their energy, dedication, and care. A small team with a big heart is the only way to make a film like "Prickly Pear."

Here we are at the end of our frenzied 3-day shoot. A couple key crew members were dutifully wrapping up another location and unfortunately are not pictured here. We tip our hats to Ian Gatt (production designer) and Thea Engerdahl (art director).

║ FESTIVAL NEWS ║'A Modern Man' by the remarkable Eva Mulvad premieres at the NORDIC:DOX competition. A big applause goes to all involved.

The film is a portrait of a typical 21st century man. An existential journey into a world of expectations and choices. A story about us - the free and wealthy - who seem to have it all but are always on the hunt for more.

360 Pictures is proud to have played a part in this endeavour. It was a fantastic experience as we worked closely with the filmmakers to facilitate the Malta shoot.
