Paisana Books Creative territory for artists looking to edit, produce and distribute their first publication.

Paisana is an independent publishing house specialized in the publication of photobooks and zines, founded in Madrid in 2016. We have built Paisana based on the idea behind Virginia Woolf’s essay, “A room of one’s own”, where she claims that to be able to write/create, a woman needs a fixed income and her own space. We want to translate this idea to the emerging artists panorama, establishing Pais
