This is the story of my Moms. MOMS? You might ask. The story begins the day of my birth. My biological mother carried me to term. Unfortunately, on that day, just a few minutes after I was born, she passed away due to complications. I would never get to know her, hug or kiss her. 😞

Sometime later, my second mom stepped in. She took the role of mom to me, my 3 brothers and sister. She was only 17 when she took on this task. Some of you might ask, Why would she do that at such a young age? Well, turns out she was my Aunt. You see my Mother had sensed that something might go wrong. She asked my aunt that if something should happen, that she take care of us. So when that day came and she moved on. My aunt knew she had to fulfill that promise.

She has been my mom ever since. She is the only mother I physically know. But I will always have my true Mother in my heart. I hope some how, when that day comes that I go to that next place, I will be able to run and hug my Mother. Till then, I know my Mama Sonia will be by my side loving me as she has my entire life.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Moms. ❤️
