Less than 1 week until the CPMAs!
What time do doors open at the ceremony?
5:00pm for the red carpet preshow—open to all! There will be photo backdrops, press, awards, a livestream, vendors, etc.!
How many photo backdrops are there, and where will there be?
4 total photo backdrops. There will be one on each of the lobby wings and two more on the balcony lobby.
Is there a dress code?
Formal evening wear or “best band attire” is encouraged, but not required. Ultimately, you do you! Some will be dressing to the nines in elegant gowns and suits, others will be in jeans and a t-shirt. View photos from the first three ceremonies here…www.cpmhof.com/gallery
Is there a purse/bag policy?
Unlike the Hershey Theatre, \the American Music Theatre does not have a purse/bag policy size limit! The venue reserves the right to search your bag when you enter.
Will there be a bar?
Yes; there will be 2-3 cash bars--both on the ground floor and the balcony level.
Where do I park?
There is a free parking lot at the American Music Theatre. Nearby lots are available for overflow parking.
What if I win an award?
Quickly, but safely, make your way to the stage. There will be stairs on the left side of the stage. You’ll be handed your award, and we politely ask you to limit your acceptance speech to 30-60 seconds. If you go over, there will be play-off music (just like on the televised awards shows).
What if I don’t win an award?
Please stay positive. You’ve been nominated from over 4,000 entrants. There are well over 200 different nominees, and yet only a handful will receive an award. Plus, as they say, there’s always next year. We hope the CPMAs motivates you in 2025 and beyond. We’ll be listening!
Will there be an after party?
Yes! The OFFICIAL after party will be held at The Village, 205 N Christian St. in Lancaster!
I’ll be traveling in from out of town; do you recommend any hotel accommodations?
Yes; the CPMHOF recommends the Lancaster Holiday Inn at 26 E. Chestnut St. Lancaster, PA (in close proximity to the after party).
