This was hard to make because it still hurts to look back at the person I was. I was lost, depressed, I felt so weak and at times couldn’t even recognize myself. I’m officially down 25lbs since this April 🩷 I made the decision to pick myself up and not quit. Quitting was the easier route because everything seemed so far away and impossible. But I choose to look myself in the mirror and the things around me and make a huge change in my life. I accepted the fact that I no longer looked or felt like I use, I was at square 1. I got out of an abusive relationship, moved away, and restarted my life from the ground up alone. I recognized alcohol being the main denominator for all of the major setbacks in my life. I thank God everyday for my strength and his help through it all. I am so grateful for the steps that I took to get to where I’m at mentally, and physically in my life right now. I still have lots of mental work to do but I’m grateful for where I’m at right now in this moment 🩷 #selflove #growth #myjourney
Current stats: 140lbs, 5’8 (I think lol) My waist is 27 and my hips are 41 1/2 It seems like my body changes frequent but I stay at these stats 🤣 I’m thinking about doing a quick, heathy cut to lose some fat, then bulk to gain some muscle. My only down fall right now is my diet, I eat a good breakfast and lunch then indulge at nighttime 😫 I’m going to have to delete postmates from my phone cause it’s too tempting 😭 I hope everyone is having a great weekend 💗
Progress video! ☺️ Felt muscled up and extra lean today. I’m sitting at around 160 lbs, 37% muscle and 22% fat, my best stats in sooo long I am so happy. I always get scared I’ll never get my body back when I take time off but that’s impossible. Hard work can get anything done. 💪🏼 I’m currently eating in a deficit but my goal is to work my way up to a maintenance, then maybe a slight bulk because it’s been 2 and a half years since I did a serious committed bulk. Crazy 😳 I haven’t missed 1 day in the gym (besides when I was sick) and have been ON POINT with my meals. Consistency is key 🔑
Back in chicago! And moved into my own place. Just for 40 days then I’m off to wherever life brings me. I’m done signing 12 month leases, if you’ve been following me just within the past year you know I move too much because I get bored or something comes up. I’m no longer sticking to that big of a commitment 😂 I HAD SOOO MUCH FUN IN VEGAS, a 4 day trip turned into 30 days, crazy. It was such an eye opener being there. I did everything I wanted to do in vegas that I never did when I lived there before. I taught myself I can be there or anywhere fun without being destructive to myself. I stayed on POINT with my diet, had only a few cheat meals, and trained almost everyday. Proud of myself ! 😇 Let’s continue the grindddd 💪🏼
