Before we tell you about who we are and what we do, let’s talk about what we’re not! ‘Things Women Want’ is not going to provide you with all of the traditional cliche pieces that you can find in almost every single women’s publication out there. We don’t want to limit our content to what outfits are in fashion, make-up pallets you’ve likely seen on several other sites, and the same repeats of information found throughout the women’s world.
Here at ‘TWW’ we want to engage our readers, empower the diverse women of the world, enlighten our audience with interesting and useful information, educate you on topics that matter to ‘us’ as women, and inspire you to do great things! We feel as though women are actually more concerned with how they’re going to pay their bills, feed their families, afford rent and mortgage, and so much more.
Sure, there is a world of fashion and beauty products but we don’t want to be like everyone else and we don’t want you too either, unless that is something you want. We want to bring you what everyone else is afraid to. We want to hit those touchy subjects and shed light on controversial topics. Feminism, equality, sexuality, personal life, emotional issues, and empowerment are what we strive for, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Our goals are to inspire you and encourage you to stand up for what’s right. We are a community of female-friendly journalists bringing information to the table that is relatable and useful on all levels of life! We’re all about things WE want and NEED to know that are helpful, useful, and relatable to our lives. Fashion is cool but what is the best approach for a mother to take when their kid is being bullied at school? We can tell you how to look good while handling your business but most importantly we want to guide you through the hot-messes of life.
