Get to know Terry Jasinto behind the latest hot single on Younan music, "Toxic" featuring Tati G with remixes by Oscar P & Matthew Brian.

Hi Terry, how would you define your sound? That's a little hard to explain since I enjoy playing and producing many different genres. However, I've been told I have a 'retro' sound so I would say my sound has a retro, deep, techy and funky motif.

What is your favorite studio gear? I mainly produce 'inside the box' (my laptop). But for outboard gear, I like the Korg Minilogue and I use a SSL2+ for my audio interface which I think richly and accurately translates sound. It's a super important component in production.

When all the partying is over how do you chill out? I love food, so I like to eat a nice hearty meal, drink a fruit and veggies smoothie and watch TV when all the partying is over.

1- What inspired your EP for Younan Music?
There EP was inspired in our side of this when we met Saaed for the second time on the groove cruise. This tune was made as a colloberation with our good friend Teklow , who we have many tunes with. Specifically this is a cross between our techy sounds and our deeply routed Chicago tracky sound. A perfect mix of the two.

2- Favorite studio gear?
Right now im obssesed with our modded out soeak & spell we bought at “Robot Speak” in San Francisco. But also love our Juno 106 ( oldschool )

3- How would you define your sound.
Paul & Zach are deeply rooted between Chicago & Detroit. So it lays somewhere between the JACKIN house & Techno/house sound. When you close your eyes and think Chicago trax, and then close your eyes and think detroit, you have a Gettoblaster track!
