I RETURNED HOME AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO FIND MY BABY'S ROOM REPAINTED BLACK — MY MIL REGRETTED THIS BIG TIME.

I just gave birth to my baby girl, Amelia, two weeks ago. My husband, Tim, and I had been excited for months, and we created the perfect nursery — soft pink walls, white furniture, cute animals, the works. I couldn't wait to bring our daughter home after a difficult C-section.

Well, that excitement died the second I opened the nursery door. MY HEART STOPPED.

The room was DESTROYED. The walls were black, the entire room was also covered with ugly black patches, the baby clothes, toys — everything — GONE. I stood there holding Amelia, totally stunned. "What the hell is this?" I asked, shaking.

Then, in comes my MIL, Janet, with a smug look on her face. She crosses her arms and says, "Isn't it perfect now for this AWFUL BABY who" ⬇️

I've lived a long honest life, but at 75, I'm completely alone. The only legacy I have left is a guitar, the last item from my music shop that I dedicated my life to. I dreamed of finding someone to pass on my legacy to before I leave this world.

So, I made friends with the neighbor kid, Tommy. He dreamed of playing like I did but couldn't afford his own instrument—his parents had died, and he only has an older brother. I started teaching him, and then... I gave him my last savings so he could buy a guitar. He had a light, a talent.

And then he disappeared. I found out his brother, Jason, had forbidden him from playing music. Not understanding why he was so harsh with little Tommy, I offered to help and went to talk to him.

But just five minutes into our heated conversation, Jason smashed the guitar. He shattered Tommy's only joy and left him sobbing over the broken instrument.

MY MIL WAS STEALING MY CLOTHES FOR MONTHS, MOCKING AND SELLING THEM ONLINE...TILL THANKSGIVING.

My MIL, Lucia, has been staying with us for months while her house is under renovation. Not long after she moved in, I started noticing some of my clothes disappearing—tops, bras, short dresses, skinny jeans—not just simple items, but my favorites.

At first, I thought I had misplaced them. But then I stumbled across a post on Reddit… featuring my clothes. I clicked on it and read the caption:

"My DIL's rags. What kind of woman would wear SUCH TRASH?! Let's see if anyone buys them—I’m putting these up for sale."

The comments were a mix of criticism and people asking where they could buy the items.

I was FUMING!! Stealing my clothes, shaming me online, and selling them?! Oh no, mommy, you picked the wrong DIL to mess with.

On Thanksgiving, during dinner with both of our families (12 people in total), I raised a toast to thank Lucia. She looked confused.

AT MY GRANDMA’S FUNERAL, I SAW MY MOM HIDING A PACKAGE IN THE COFFIN — I QUIETLY TOOK IT & LOOKED INSIDE
Grandma and I shared a bond like no other—she was my safe place, my confidante. Growing up, I spent nearly every weekend at her house, listening to her stories, helping her bake, and sharing secrets I could never tell my parents. Losing her felt like a part of me was gone, and as I stood by her coffin, my heart ached.
When I stepped away to speak with a guest, I glanced back and noticed my mom leaning into the casket, slipping something inside. It was so subtle that if I hadn't been watching, I might have missed it.
It didn't sit right with me. My mom and Grandma had always had a strained relationship, and I knew Grandma would never have asked for something to be put in the casket without telling me. It felt… off.
After the ceremony, as people began to leave, I went back to the coffin. I spotted a tiny corner of a wrapped package, barely visible under Grandma's body. I reached in, carefully took the package, and slipped it into my purse, hoping no one had seen. Part of me felt guilty, as if I was betraying my mom, but the urge to protect Grandma's memory won out.
Later, alone in my room, I unwrapped the package, feeling like I was about to uncover something very important. ⬇️

As I was about to get down from the bus, I heard a sob and stopped. I peered into the last seat and realized a kid was still there.

"Hey, kid," I called out to the little boy. "You ain't going to class today?"

He sobbed and shook his head.

"What's the matter, boy? Are you alright?" I asked. He seemed so frightened.

Suddenly, I noticed the boy was hiding his hands. Now, that was really scary. "What are you hiding there, buddy?" I asked. "Is something bothering you? Tell me."

With that, the boy showed his hands.

I SAW MY MAID'S EARRINGS — THE EXACT SAME ONES I BURIED MY MOTHER IN

When my mom passed, I was completely wrecked. She was my rock, my everything—and now she was gone. The house felt so empty, so I hired a maid just to have someone around. Being alone was unbearable. Betty wasn't the greatest at cleaning, and she was older, but honestly, I didn't care.

One day, I was on a work call. I waved to Betty to grab an empty cup off the table. As she leaned over, a few strands of her hair came loose, and I saw her earrings. THE SAME EARRINGS THAT BELONGED TO MY MOM—THE ONES I BURIED HER WITH!

I froze, completely pale, and ended the call right away.

I WENT TO PICK UP MY WIFE AND NEWBORN TWINS FROM THE HOSPITAL — I ONLY FOUND THE BABIES AND A NOTE.
I can't explain the excitement I felt as I drove to the hospital to bring Suzie and our newborn twin daughters home. I had spent the past few days decorating the nursery, cooking a big family dinner, and planning the perfect welcome. I even picked up balloons on the way. But when I arrived, my excitement turned into confusion.
Suzie wasn't there. I just found our two sleeping daughters and a note.
My hands shook as I unfolded it:
"Goodbye. Take care of them. Ask your mother WHY she did this to me."
I froze, rereading it over and over. What the hell did this mean? Where was Suzie?
I asked the nurse, my voice trembling. "Where's my wife?"
"She checked out this morning," the nurse said hesitantly. "She said you knew."
Knew? I had no clue. I drove home with the twins, my mind racing, replaying every moment of Suzie's pregnancy. She seemed happy — or was I blind?
When I got home, my mom was there, smiling and holding a casserole. "Oh, let me see my grandbabies!"

A month ago, I saw a man on the street offering people money or something else in the box, they all took money.

When it was my turn, a man named Jeremy, who turned out managed a social experiment initiative, approached me with an offer: Choose either $500 now, for doing nothing, or a full-time job for a month or more, with the salary of $3k paid at the end — I immediately chose the job. I'd just moved to another state after my dad's death, trying to help my mom, who's struggling physically and financially as they spent all money on dad's treatment. She's my world now.

The job was tough, building a house as it is, but I was happy to have a job, and kept thinking about my mom and getting through the month.

In a month, I went to him for my salary and was taken aback by his words, "Sorry, man, we don't have money for you, only this." And he gave me the envelope with something solid inside. When I opened it, I whispered: "NO WAY." ⬇️
