More than 60 youths and Employers participated in the first ever GOWA program conducted in upper Chhukha.

The GOWA program of Ministry of Labour and Human Resources was conducted with collaboration of Regional Labour Office, P/ling; Entrepreneurs of Chhukha (EoC) and the Economic Development sector of the Dzongkhag.

At the event, the advocacy to participants were conducted on Labour Laws, YELP and other programmes of Regional Office of Labour.

The value-added programmes like the NeykapGokab of UNDP-DHI-MoEA was also conducted by the Dzongkhag administration with support of Darla School Principal.

The Dzongkhag Economic Development Officer also disseminated on the concerted efforts of the Dzongkhag to promote youth entrepreneurship and skiling and to create enterprises in the Dzongkhag.

The annual Trongsa Tshechu began Yesterday. The monks performed Shingjey, zhana and Zhana Nga cham followed by mask dances performed by the laymen; Dramitsengacham, Yeeleem, Juging, Deyging Ngaging, Pholey Moley and Achu Pento. Hundreds of devotees came to witness the Tshechu. Hundred stalls, selling different food items, goods, and cloths have also been set-up outside the dzong. The Tshechu will end on January 3 2023 with the unfurling of Guru Tshengye Throngdrel.
