All Battlemaster pre-orders have shipped. Stonewall Jackson is currently getting removed. W**d became decriminalized in Virginia today. Small victories? Most definitely, a long way to truly go, but for me I'll take them today for my positive mental health. 'Ghastly, Graven, Grimoireless', by Battlemaster

Today on Juneteenth, with bandcamp donating 100% of their share of sales to Naacp Legal Defense Fund, we felt it was a perfect time to make Battlemaster's new LP available in full and donate the proceeds to some organizations that we feel deeply about.

‘Ghastly, Graven, Grimoireless' is available for advance download through the weekend with all proceeds being donated to RISE for Youth, a Virginia organization that focuses on community-based alternatives to youth incarceration. Additionally, we have also made vinyl copies available for order, 50% of the profits from each sale will be donated to Black and Pink, a national abolitionist organization supporting LGBTQ and HIV-positive prisoners.

Forcefield will also be donating to support the Richmond Community Bail Fund. We will match every dime from this weekend’s digital sales and donate it to Richmond Bail Fund. We strongly urge everyone to stand up for what is right. There is only one side, you are for human rights or not. BLACK LIVES MATTER!

I'm incredibly excited and honored to usher one of my favorite Richmond bands into the vinyl realm. I'm no wordsmith so straight from the mage's mouth. -

"Battlemaster has a new album, but our city's on fire and so many

other cities around the world are too. People are rightfully outraged.

Black Lives Matter and they sure haven't been treated that way. Systemic injustice and racism have far too long gone unchecked.

Feel the Cleansing Fire of VOARM “Invective Transcendence”

Super stoked to announce a return to putting out new material! These first two LPs back couldn’t be more perfect pairing to align with how and why I started doing this. From the get go the foundation of Forcefield was to release material (usually debuts) for my closest of friends, it pretty much became the most constant focal point of the label. Knowing and loving what my friends were doing and making sure it got to see the light of day. With all that said, first up is the debut LP from my Richmond, VA brothers VOARM. Formed in early 2016, the band followed with a demo a handful of months later and set out on playing as much regionally as possible to craft their blend of black, death, and doom. In the fall of 2018 once the band had formulated a proper and cohesive full length a tour was booked around a weekend at Jam Room Studio in Columbia, SC with engineer Jay Matheson. Now a year later I am proud to announce its physical release to the world, VOARM’s debut ‘s/t’ 12″ LP will be released October 4th, 2019, pre-orders will ship September 20th. The first track premiere “Invective Transcendence” comes courtesy of the most righteous homies at CVLT Nation, in the form of a stellar video shot and edited by Richmond audio/visual wizard JK.

Super stoked to announce a return to releasing records in 2019. It's been over a year but couldn't be more excited for Forcefield's first release back to be the debut full length for our Richmond brethren Voarm! Their record is currently in production and will be out this fall, tour dates and a formal release date to be announced in the coming week. The band is appearing at Medium Well In Hell V in Raleigh tonight!

Apologizes to late orders. Went to Pittsburgh for Skull Fest and PNC Park and then directly to Boston for HISTORY and Fenway Park. I sandwiched the trips with an excessive amount of hours around pizza. All orders packed and will ship today or tomorrow.
