Thank you Tata, we're all here because of you. You've given us too much and it's sad that a lot of us are only realising that now. The world is grieving, we all feel that that we could've thanked you more than we did.
Langham '14, Mandela's death is nothing short of a tragedy. We know that. He was a great leader and words aren't enough recognition. Memorials, museums, 67 minutes, all of it. Its not enough. We can do better.
Matrics, we can do better. When we lead next year, let's follow his example. Let's take responsibility. We won't depend on others but each other because that took us so far already. Let's take what uTata has shown us, what he has given to us and use it to remember not only Dale College's Father, Sir Langham, but the World's Father too. Dale has lost hope, as the world has lost hope too. It is up to us and no one else, to bring it back. And let's not do it for fame or our benefit. But for those who will follow. Like uTata uMandela. He was One for all. Let's try that too. Its time for South Africa to walk on its own, without him. And its time for us to lead Dale College, in his honour, for those to follow.
It's Time Langham '14
