Huge congratulations to and for the successful grand opening of the Chicago store this past week! The Fingerboard community is truly made up of some of the most rad people in the world, and it was an incredible experience to be surrounded by so many people all brought together by our common love for a small wooden skateboard for our fingers! The amount of talented and passionate individuals at this event was nothing short of inspiring! It’s wild how small the world feels when you get to spend so much time with friends from different states and countries literally every other month or so! I’m beyond thankful for every opportunity that has come my way this year! To my amazing family - I can’t begin to thank you all enough for everything you have done for me and this incredible hobby of ours! Traveling the world is fun but better with - truly like a brother to me! Here’s to many more fingerboard meetups and memories ahead! 🙌

Been a couple weeks since from my trip to Germany and I still can’t believe it actually happened. Some serious core memories were made on this trip! A huge THANK YOU to my family for thinking to include me is such a rad event and moment in history!

This past week doesn’t feel real. I said it once, and I’ll say it again.. thank you . This germany trip was incredible! and has been the most gracious hosts, welcoming us into their home for a week and making us feel like family!

The whole and family treated us like royalty this past week and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Happy 25 years BLACKRIVER - you both are truly incredible people doing incredible things for our community!

I need to convince me to pack up and move out here! Such a rad, and different way of life out here.. also, this trip is only possible because my wife pushes my to follow my dreams.. I had seconds thoughts about leaving my wife and babies for a week but she pushed me to go know how huge of a life moment this was for me!

It’s all mental. It’s all on you.

2024 will be as rad as you make it!

Allowing your past to define the future version of yourself is a mistake many of us make! It’s hard to let go.. but it’s even harder to realize life passed you by and you spent all your time harping on the past!

Stop excepting others to show up for you, and show up for yourself.

Looking back on this year, I couldn’t be more thankful for all the love and support I’ve received from this incredible community!

I’ve said it one and I’ll say it again.. I couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing community of ours!

I’m a student in this hobby. I’ve never claimed to be bigger or better than anyone past or present and I have so much respect for all those who have come before me!

I cannot thank and enough for allowing me the opportunity to share my thoughts and insight on building a bigger, better and stronger community using the power of social media and content creating!

If you would have told me 3 years ago when I first started this fingerboard journey of mine I would be sitting on the same panel as fingerboard royalty such as and FB world champ ..I would have said you’re CRAZY!

Thank you for making one for the books!

Let’s talk about a full circle moment.

Just a few years ago, I was sitting on the edge of my bed, totally oblivious to just about anything to do with fingerboarding.

So in true millennial spirit.. I googled “fingerboarding” and BAM.. search result number one.. 💖

After only a few moments in the site I placed my first order.. my first purchase was the iconic, the legendary.. Slush anywhere side bag!

Over the next few months/years my love for the brand grew and with out even noticing, Slush became such a huge part of my everyday life. From myself and my wife rotting in slush tee’s and hoodies.. to hangs at the minimart to sesh with the homies! Thats my intro to Slush, a very general and overly simplified version of events but in a nutshell shell, that’s the story!

Now insert Clayton (pause). The man behind the radness, your friendly neighborhood core fingerboard shop owner.. It’s safe to say, we met, we hit it off, and we’ve created such a rad and unique friendship over the last few years! Clay is easily someone who I consider a bestfriend, a big brother and a mentor! I can always count on Clay dog to keep it real and back me (pause) 100% when ever I come up with sometimes questionable video ideas!

I’m bad at this, so yeah, Clay, The rest of the Slush team, I love y’all! I’m stoked to be officially on the team and look forward to a bright pink, green and orange future! 💖💚🧡

This is OUR community, it might be small, it might be niche and childlike to the masses but validation is not something I’m looking for when it comes to my passion and hobbies.
