For my Kansas City Radio Broadcast Friends: I thought I would try to look up my old broadcast buddy from KUDL FM “Del Robinson” and of course he’s no longer with us. He was an amazing overnight disc jockey and a very fun man to work with. The very first time I opened the mic at a major market FM station was KUDL FM 98 and it was during his air shift… he said “You work here now, you know the console, do the legal ID and take us into the AP Network News!!” That was in 85 and my career in Broadcasting started at a much smaller radio (university station) in 84… But Del gave me my first major FM on air moment!! He was always smiling and happy. I’m sure he will be missed by many including me. God bless Delbert Robinson.

Today marks a somewhat sad day for us here at Channel Z the Edge. After four years and with a very heavy heart, we ended our broadcast just before noon eastern time today. Although we are not done with the Internet Radio concept and broadcast industry... for now, we are going silent... We intend to come back at some point but for now we are going to regroup and look towards the future and see what doors open for us. We will update folks over Facebook of future ideas with Channel Z. I want to thank our awesome voice talent, Rick, Jolene, Bryan & Denise for keeping us sounding smooth over the years, you are very much appreciated!Thank you to everyone else for your awesome help in making it happen!
