The launch of this website, which was supposed, to be in January 2020 will be delayed until the world returns to something that allows Conventions, LARPS, and other fan-related events to happen in safely.

The world is a strange, strange place, and very scary right now. But it will get back to some sort of normal, eventually.

Until then, Game On!

And would someone PLEASE find whomever is playing Jumanji and help them finish the game!

Our Thanksgiving Day game. Illimat.

This game was designed because the cover art of The Decemberist Album showed a cool looking game that did not exist.

This game is actually a lot of fun. Its a trick taking card game with a literal twist. Depending on the cards played, the center box rotates, changing the rules of play in the individual fields. A game is usually 3 rounds, a round being 1 time through the draw deck. The corner cards change the game as well, and you have to be ready to adjust your strategy every turn.

Works well as a 2 player game, can be up to 4 players. And one of the expansions has rules for solo play, which we haven't tried yet.

The only weakness so far is the manual. Some things aren't explained as well as they could have been, but the on-line FAQ and several of the YouTube videos explain and teach the game quite nicely.

I have to say, I'm glad Brian backed this particular Kickstarter!

Hi Everyone!
We plan on teaching period board games at Carnage in 2018. In fact, I already wrote the description and teaser. We will be covering games from Queep to Quiots, Tafl to Tables and variants in between.

We'll be running the session as Open Tavern Gaming. Come in Garb, Come in your persona from any game you play, and learn what to do after the Marshals and GMs go to bed.

We'll also be covering Pirate games like Shut the Box, Yote, Chess including Byzantine Chess, and Game of the Goose.
