This is exactly what made man fall.

There were TWO ways to succeed.

The Tree of Life
The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

One is fully dependent on God.
The other is fully independent of God.

God said to the man - Don't touch the fruit of number 2.

You can succeed in fellowship or union with Me, for I am Life.

Or you can succeed on your own judgment of what is good and what is evil, your own truth, your own ways, without Me. DON'T DO THAT. YOU WILL SURELY DIE. For there is a way that SEEMS RIGHT to a man, but the END thereof are the ways of death.

The end. The end. The end. At the end of time, all shall know what success truly is.

Psalm 73:3
For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Behold, these are the ungodly, Who are always at ease; They increase in riches.

Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.

For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.

But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.

Abel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Elijah etc chose Life. They were successful in God. Their lives will matter forever and count for all eternity.

Cain, Ni**od, Pharaoh, Balaam, Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander the Great, Caesar etc chose the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. They were successful outside of God. They gained the world and lost their soul.

Nebuchadnezzar was probably mightier and richer than Abraham, but he did not have the Blessing.

Pharaoh was certainly mightier and richer than Jacob, but he did not have the promises.

Artaxerxes was likely mightier than David and wealthier than Solomon but he did not know the sure mercies of David and has no crown in heaven.

Alexander was a great man who at age 33 had conquered the whole civilized world in his time. Jesus who died for the whole world at 33 years. The least of those He died for is greater than Alexander.

There is mere success and good success. You can gain the whole world and lose your soul. Earthly wise and heavenly foolish. You may not know that now, but that makes you of all men most miserable.

Don't let the devil deceive you by comparing the success of those eating from the tree of death with those who are feeding from the tree of life.

The blessing with 10 million is more successful than 100 billion without the blessing.

So Sirrrrr!

You need God to triumph. You need God to prosper. You need God to be truly wealthy.

YOU NEED GOD TO SUCCEED!
