🌾 Looking for fresh, locally sourced produce? Check out these farm shops in West Berkshire! 🍎🥕

🥦Cobbs Farm Shop & Kitchen, Hungerford - located in Hungerford, Cobbs Farm Shop & Kitchen offers a wide range of locally sourced produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, cheese, baked goods, and more. They also have a café and a pick-your-own farm on-site
🥦Bucklebury Farm & Deer Safari Park, Reading - Located in Bucklebury, this farm shop offers locally produced meat, fruit, vegetables, and other products, as well as a deer safari park for visitors. .farm
🥦Sheepdrove Organic Farm: Located in Lambourn, Sheepdrove Organic Farm produces organic meat and vegetables, which are available to purchase at their farm shop.
🥦Saddleback Farm Shop - situated on the outskirts of Brightwalton village, has beautiful views over the adjacent farmland. The shop is stocked with lots of great produce. The butchery sells locally reared, grass fed beef and locally reared, rare breed lamb and pork.

Today is World Wildlife day - a day to remind us of our responsibilities to our world and the lifeforms we share it with 🌍

Here's a list of 5 places to spot wildlife in Berkshire:

🌎Dinton Pastures Country Park - located in Wokingham, this park has several lakes and meadows that are home to a wide range of birds and animals, including swans, herons, kingfishers, and deer
🌎Basildon Park - a National Trust property in Lower Basildon, where you can see a variety of birds, including woodpeckers and nuthatches, and occasionally catch a glimpse of deer in the surrounding woodlands.
🌎Windsor Great Park - a large park in Windsor that is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, foxes, rabbits, and a wide range of birds.
🌎The Nature Discovery Centre - located in Thatcham, this nature reserve has a variety of habitats, including woodlands, meadows, and wetlands, that are home to a wide range of birds, mammals, and insects
🌎Hosehill Lake Nature Reserve - located in Theale, this reserve is home to a variety of birds, including waders, ducks, and gulls, as well as other wildlife such as otters and water voles

This popular race takes in the best of Newbury and the surrounding countryside, with stunning views throughout. With two children's races, there's something for the whole family! 🏃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

It's almost spring! 🌸 or so the snowdrops are telling us! Did you know these are one of the first bulbs to flower and signal the start of spring? The flower is a symbol of hope 🤍
To celebrate spring coming, we've come up with the perfect day out for you and your family! Thank us later 😇

Your itinerary:
🥾Put on your sturdy shoes & warm outdoor clothes to keep you warm
🚗 Drive down to Welford Park (make sure to book your tickets in advance)
🌸Walk around, admire the beautiful nature, take in the fresh air
☕Get positively famished and then..
🚗Drive either to Five Bells Wickham, The Great Shefford or The Pheasant Pub for a good meal (all in good driving distance from all the snowdrops)
