Last night at the Royal Television Society Student North West awards we were awarded ‘Best Scripted Film’ along with two official selections for the ‘Writing’ and ‘Editing’ categories.

We’re so, so grateful to have been listed with so many incredible filmmakers and are completely overwhelmed with the news. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all who have supported us and followed our projects over the past three years at the University of Salford, this is for all of you who believed in us!

More exciting news for In Vitro

So last night IndieX Fest released their nominations for July 2020, and I am absolutely mind blown to announce that Long Shot Pictures has been nominated for 5 categories for In Vitro!

This in itself is amazing and I am so proud of our amazing crew and cast! Amongst the categories however is my personal nomination for Best Cinematography!

This is absolutely sureal and I cannot wait to find out the final results! Good luck everyone!

⚠️ PRODUCTION UPDATE ⚠️

Hello all!

We thought we'd update you all with the current situation here at Long Shot Pictures.

We have currently completed 85% of filming for our short film 'In Vitro', allowing us to have a large majority of shooting wrapped!

To ensure the safety of cast and crew, we have had to postpone the remaining few days of filming until guidelines become more relaxed.

But don't worry, we're working hard at scheduling content for our social media to keep you updated with the latest news and info! Over the next few weeks we'll be releasing a wide range of content including, frames from the film, behind the scenes photos, cast bios, storyboard artwork and more!

Once again, we'd like to thank our backers for supporting the fundraising campaign for 'In Vitro', we really couldn't have achieved what we have without your help.

Brilliant time running more camera tests for our next film this week! The Alexa XT Plus delivered some amazing results for us and the VariCam LT looks magnificent mounted to the front of our lead vehicle! It’s all coming together for In Vitro!

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been working with ITV’s Tonight programme for the past couple of months and tonight’s programme is one which I had the pleasure of shooting around half of.

Being present throughout the majority of this production has hit home how important current affairs shows like Tonight are. As we move further into an era that is manipulated by what we see on screen, Tonight’s representation (at least on the programmes I’ve worked on) is as true as can possibly be.

Kitty is 92 years old and lives alone in her 3 bedroom house in Birmingham. With the help of her son Adrian, she’s looking to move into a smaller and more suited home, but is it easy to find a suitable home for an elderly person in today's world?
