Thank you and for taking this newbie out foraging for mushrooms. The matsutakes are finally thawing out and filling my kitchen with its distinct wonderful woodsy aroma. Ok, now I need MATSUTAKE RECIPES!!! I’m going to do soup and rice I might dry some. I’m definitely gonna make a beef burger with a ton of matsutake on it. What else? Oh, I also have chanterelles and some wild ginger. So much good stuff! And I’m hoping I can go diving soon and it’s winter dungie season. So crabs, beware!

What do you get when you get a bunch of divers together for a delicious dinner? A freaking great time! and and and the entire team at took such amazing care of us! I’m absolutely grateful to them and the wonderful company that made the evening perfect! .unlimited

We are split down the middle. 3 divers and divers. We had 3 divers. 1 diver and 5 divers. 3 Jetfin divers, 2 RK3 fins, 2 and 1 . So we represented A LOT of brands so if any of those brands would like to sponsor us… just saying!

Let’s do this again!!! I have always loved boat diving. It’s so much easier than schlepping all the gear on your back during a shore dive. Plus you can access dive sites that are not easy to get to. Today we did Z’s Reef on Fox Island and Maury’s Island barges.

Well, color me surprised…strike that. Color me gob-smacked!!! Yakima has an Indian restaurant (actually a few of them) and this one specializes in Sikh cuisine. It’s and you absolutely MUST go there. It’s still relatively new, 11 months. It’s beautiful white interior is the perfect backdrop to the array of spices and flavors that will arrive at your table. Jas was our server. She was extremely welcoming and friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful with our menu choices. Aunt Kathy and I were the most familiar with the cuisine. And despite my parents having NO IDEA what they were eating (actual quote from my mother multiple times) they continuously and happily reached for more and more of everything.

The next time I come, I wanna dive into the vindaloo and paneer. Who wants to join me?
