Thanks to a combination of the pandemic shifting the schedule on everything and us being really freakin' ambitious, the new shows are coming fast and furious from now through October. Earlier this month Critical Frequency launched Sound Off with Katy Henriksen and Labor, a collab with Reasonable Volume (Elise Hu-Stiles and Rachel Swaby). Now we can finally tell you about another co-production we've been working on for over a year with Stitcher! Unfinished: Short Creek is a 10-part documentary series on the fundamentalist Mormon community in Short Creek, a community that straddles the state line between Arizona and Utah, operated for decades as a theocracy within the U.S., and is now trying to figure out what democracy looks like and where to draw the line between freedom of religion and freedom from religion. It is a *fascinating* story and I'm so so proud of the work this team pulled off (John DeLore, Sarah Ventre, Ashley Sanders, and Abigail Keel). Check it out! https://www.witnesspodcasts.com/shows/unfinished-short-creek?fbclid=IwAR31035geghNFg-8DUzsI3RFV9FNX57kmDTOu8rRPcnZaHn0hxsoCGCaP54
