“Tales from Beyond the Rainbow by Pete Jordi Wood is an important contribution to our collective q***r history. This collection of ten stories from different cultures offers us a glimpse into a time long, long ago where we as q***r people were very much present and even worthy of our own narrative. The revelation that q***r characters have been around much longer than most people realize gives way to the realization that the real reason most of us have never heard of these stories is that they were actively suppressed by folklorists and academia alike. But thanks to the work of open-minded folklorists like Wood more and more q***r stories are coming to light.”

“Ultimately a Q***r Craft is one that is here for each other, in all of our beauty-flawed weirdness.

Ultimately, a Q***r Witchcraft is one in which we truly feel at home, without the need to play a role for someone else or to pretend to be something that we are not. A Q***r Craft affirms who we actually are, on every level. It affirms our sexuality, our gender, our race, our talents, our flaws, and our weirdness.”

Q***r people often find ourselves alienated from religion, and those feelings of alienation extend to magical practices, Wicca, and witchcraft. Often, that means 'translating' ...

“My vision as a Q***r Witch is to put everything I’ve learned so far in my life into my writing and to create work that connects most deeply with the Witch Within, the q***r and feminine power that aggregates around the archetype of the witch. The essence of this is the desire to keep learning and to keep writing so that I can communicate my world view as I see it, even when it can seem like going so much against the grain. I ask my fellow Q***r Witches to join me in this mission!”

Recently, I’ve been thinking about how being Q***r interfaces with being a Witch and the current upsurge of q***r folks embracing…

“There is no moralistic doctrine or dogma other than the advice offered in the Wiccan Rede. The only ‘law’ here is love. It matters not whether we are gay, straight, bisexual, or transgendered – the physical world is sacred, and we are celebrating our physicality, sexuality, human nature, and celebrating the Goddess, Giver of ALL life and soul of ALL nature.”

LGBTQ+ individuals comprise a much larger percentage of the population in pagan circles than in any other religious population.

We’re here! We’re Q***r, and we are not going to disappear! Everyone has demons to deal with. At least ours are crafty! 😆

There are people out there who will try to demonize you, your beliefs, and your gatherings. Battle with knowledge and with love, and you can not go wrong.

“Coming out as both a q***r person and as a witch is not only an act of extreme bravery, it is an initiation in itself. We must be visible for those younger generations who are trying to discover who they are. We must be equally proud and open about being q***r as we are about a witch.”

"The thing about manifestation spells that gets tricky for q***r witches, is that you have to believe that it can and will work for you. I'm not super into the idea that you create your own reality, but I do think if you cast a spell without meaning it, it's not likely to come true. That fifth element, Spirit, needs to be there before you can really do the work that needs to be done. Spirit needs to be strong and faithful—if not in a god, then in yourself and the idea that you deserve to attract the things you want into your life. For people who have had very real marginalizations and oppressions like poverty, racism, and homophobia in their lives it's easy to feel like you don't deserve good things or, even if you know you do, it feels like it's impossible for them to come to you. That means there's healing spellwork that needs to happen before we can dip our toes into manifestation." — , "Q***ring Your Craft"

Some guys with fragile masculinity, like the men wearing red hats in this meme, are reacting strongly to a post that we shared in a Pagan group online. It's crucial for us to be visible. Some people want us to be silent, but we will not be silenced. We will continue to stand up for what we believe in and show our pride.
