Iā€™ll always rescue antique Adamā€™s Palace Moon & Star from the thrift without chips! These scream put me next to a whirlpool bath tub for towels and bath salts. Am I wrong?šŸ› šŸ«§ At over 100 years old my heart just canā€™t leave them.

Adamā€™s Palace - In 1874, the Adams & Company introduce a new pattern of pressed glass they called ā€œPalaceā€. Note that the glass known as ā€œPalaceā€ eventually earned the nickname, ā€œMoon & Starā€ because of the star-like design and round depression that took on a moon shape but only gained the ā€œMoon and Starā€ name once L.G. Wright began production. The early 1880ā€™s pieces were all clear glass and came in the shape of goblets, sugar bowls, creamers, butter dishes, relish trays, shakers, spoon rests, candy compotes, and more utilitarian pieces.

More Arabia thrifted, but this time 50% off! Iā€™ve been scoping out this set the last two weeks, oddly enough I couldnā€™t find the salads that were originally there. Love the classic Ulla Procope design! A set of 8 dinner plates amongst the other goodies in this cart shot. Did you peep the Balinese set of dogs? šŸ¶

A 24 piece set of Arabia Ulla Procope designed ā€œValenciaā€ pattern dishes. These are stunning! Dreading having to leave these thrift stores here in Colorado, because itā€™s straight šŸ”„ almost every time. So freaking good!

Ulla ProcopĆ© designed ā€Valenciaā€ in 1960 during the golden era of Finnish pottery. The series was then manufactured by the Arabia factory until 2002.

From my stories the other day this is *the lamp.* Once I pulled it out from the clothes and plugged it in I knew it was coming home with me. This Ć¼ber chic 1970s Italian Lacquered Onyx lamp table is the stuff of low lighting dreams and ran me $45 whereas these babes go for $$$$. Iā€™ll rewire with a click switch and experiment with bulb types at some point, but I canā€™t wait to find where itā€™s going to go! Still drooling.

Heads up peeps. Restore in Greeley does 30%, 40% or 50% off on Saturdays. ALL of this for less than $30. Colorado refinishers take note! Danish teak chair, large chalkware lamp, and a deco lucite light fixture. Itā€™s located in a former Sears mall, so itā€™s HUGE. Since Iā€™m moving these were my personal picks. They had AISLES of furniture: so many MCM dining sets, chests, nightstands, china cabinets, over 4 Lane chests, outdoor, chairs, big chairs, couches, etcā€¦ Rent a truck and fillā€™r up. Almost nothing is over $150 before the discount!!

Ok. Thrifting this I made a BIG MISTAKE. Even as an avid always prepared person. I walked into a cash only thrift quite confident I had a $20 in my bag. I did not, I didnā€™t even double check. The store had two atms, I was desperate and swallowed my pride to pay the insane $4.50 atm feeā€¦ (That is robbery imo). BOTH atms did not work. I stealthily had to hide this Viking egret I chose its original home (color coordinated) behind large amber vases and hopped in my car to go down in the same plaza to a different atm and bust it back to hope this bird was in the same freakin place I hid it šŸ˜‚. It was there but it was moved! Regardless the egret left safely with me. PSA: lay eyes on your supposed cash before entering Mile High so you donā€™t look dumb like I did.

When the thrift haul is so good you start to get nutty. Articulating brass & tubed candleholder, and these INSANE Dobbs hat boxes! This isnā€™t even the half of it. I was too disoriented to get a full haul photo because that sauce was saucin. A new obsession of mine is hat boxes. Iā€™m determined to style my closet along with every other aspect of my next home. A phenomenal pull of vintage Vera Neumann scarves from the thrift. Iā€™m obsessed with the designs on these ones. Iā€™ve been using scarves for so many upcycle projects, holding my sunglasses, bag straps, zipping them in every bag as a hair tie, traditional bag scarf, using them as headbands. You can never have too many because they compress so nicely šŸ˜‚. They are pretty cheap too! Start a collection if you havenā€™t I say.
