RISD YTB 10: Ten x Ten Call for Proposals!

We are accepting submission proposals for ISSUE 10: Ten x Ten !
YTB Issue 10: Ten x Ten is a boxed collection of flat and 3D
student-made items. Ten x Ten is a celebration of past YTB
Issues (Swap, Tiny, Pattern etc.) all in one!
To round out our 5th year, we are putting together this issue
as a thankyou and celebration of what has only been possible
with the consistent support + excitement from submitters
and the larger RISD community + beyond!
Prompt: One Thing Ten Ways
YTB is seeking 60 student proposals for a series of 5x8”
original flat-ish works and 30 student proposals for a series
of 4x2.5x1.5” (max) objects. By “one thing ten ways” we
mean a series of 10 executions/different versions of a similar
theme, image, object, etc. This could mean a painted card
with 10 color palettes, a 3D file digitally fabricated 10 ways,
a rectangular prism made out of 10 materials, really anything!
Proposals should be for a collection of flat-ish works OR small
objects, not both combined! We are asking a minimum
of 10 items be produced per submission, but this isn’t a maximum;
as always, the more the merrier!
Proposal deadline is Friday April 8th.
