India's External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar told an audience in the Global Technology Summit that India is playing a catch up game and were not ambitious enough in setting goas in technology.
EAM also said that manufacturing is a must for any economy to succeed in technology. Without manufacturing Indian couldn't become a technology power.
Among other things, he also mentioned about supply chain, setting high goals etc.

Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi delivered a powerful speech on climate change at COP28. Some of the main points are:

Despite India having 17% of the world's population, India releases less than 4% of world's carbon emissions.
India is one of the very few countries that achieved the NDC target.
India met the emissions target 11 years ago.
India also completed the nonfossil fuel target.

PM Modi also said:
India will reduce the emission intensity by 45% by 2030.
India will raise the nonfossil fuel by 50%.
India will target to be net zero by 2070.
