Not my typical content, but it really fires me up when someone says, “You’ll miss these days when they get older.” Or “I didn’t have any help when my kids were young.”
Listen, I didn’t say I don’t like my kids, Jennifer. I’d just like a space to be able to THINK without the anticipation of being interrupted, a few hours of SILENCE so I can compete a project, or maybe time to do something I ENJOY (gasp!).
Moms are juggling and balancing enough sh*t. Will we look back and long for these days when our kids were little? The fun parts, maybe so. Are we living through a season that’s really hard sometimes? Yup.
