Pele, the magical Brazilian soccer star who rose from barefoot poverty to become one of the greatest and best-known athletes in modern history, died at the age of 82, his daughter said on Instagram.
 
He had been in and out of hospital in recent months after a tumor was found on his colon.
 
Pele, whose given name was Edson Arantes do Nascimento, scored a world record 1,281 goals, and is the only player ever to win the World Cup three times.
 
Pele's 1,281 goals in 1,366 games, as tabulated by FIFA's website, came at a startling rate of 0.94 per match. Some of those were friendlies or came in games played as part of his military service, but he was just as prolific in official tournaments, with 757 goals in 812 games.
 
Pele had suffered from a series of health issues in recent years, including hip surgery that left him with recurring pain and trouble walking unaided. He reduced his public appearances, but remained active on social media.
 
Pele is survived by six known children. A seventh, whom he didn't recognize as his own for years, died of cancer in 2006. 🔗 More about his life and career at our link in bio.

Today is the first day of Kwanzaa! We worked with artist Jessica Jones on this piece to commemorate the holiday. Here's what she had to say about the holiday, "Kwanzaa is a special and unique holiday where a community of people can come together to celebrate and build. As a child Kwanzaa was always a beautiful way for my mom to teach us how to create gifts and share with our loved ones. It was a time where we would talk about community and build with each other with the great intention for the new year. My favorite part about Kwanzaa was celebrating our ancestors through a process called libation. Although this process is not unique to Kwanzaa it created an environment where folks can honor their ancestors together by calling their names and once again speaking life into their memory. Through this illustration I hope for people to become inspired to share time and create intentionally with each other. If my art can reach people and bring about joy and happiness, I’ll feel like I’ve given the best gift yet."

Whoooo doesn't love 🤎 hot chocolate? 👀 ☕

If you don't, then you are missing out on this jacked up with extra flavor to the 10th power hot chocolate!! 🙌

💁‍♀️Vitality essential oils are GRAS generally regarded as safe/ approved by the FDA for consumption and can be a wonderful addition to flavoring your beverages and other food dishes!! 🤓 BUT some of these essential oils are quite strong, because they are the strongest part- extracted oils straight from the plant source. I always suggest starting off low and slow! 🙆‍♀️

💁‍♀️For example peppermint, cinnamon bark, clove and black pepper are very strong hot oils.♨️ I would NOT do a full drop. I would try a toothpick dip into the essential oil bottle and then swirl into your hot chocolate first! 👍

You can always add a little more in that way to taste! One of my favorite most logical sentences that I have ever heard when it's in regards to stuff like this, is you can always add more but you can't take it out! Now the Citrus essential oils are not as strong so you might be totally fine with the flavor of 1 -2 drops. These essential oils will pack a potent flavor punch and also a lot of health benefits as well! 🙅‍♀️

🥳 You can jack it up a little bit more with a shot of perhaps a little Bailey's Irish cream! 😱

“This kid dialed 911 telling the dispatcher he was running away from home after an argument with his mother. This officer arrived talked to the kid and went into his bedroom which was empty outside of a deflated blowup bed. The young man essentially slept on the floor.

The officer encouraged the boy to stay home. The child’s mother facing a tough financial hardship. The officer left and soon returning with a bed, a television and a game system. The child was elated beyond words. Not all angels wear wings! Thank you officer!!!!” ❤️❤️❤️
