It's going to be a strangely quiet halloween for lots of people this year, so we thought this little movie might help to get you in a good pumpkin carving frame of mind. We shot this at Sorauren Park in Toronto a couple of years back. Please enjoy responsibly!

The day before had been long and hot and we'd slogged across the lake in almost no wind, taking long, wide tacks to get to this virtually landlocked cove. A sharp turn to starboard opened into this peaceful mooring field. That night the boat swung lazily, tied to the anchored buoy, and we woke at dawn to watch the sunrise over the cormorant's roost.

We'd love your company on a journey we're going on. There’s no actual destination, and we have no idea how long it will take; hopefully as long as we live and can continue to create.

I'm Kristina and my partner/tripod lugger here is Billy. We’re making slow films. It means going out into nature and filming what goes on. We don’t intervene, there’s no plot, no dialogue, just images of the world, doing what it does, as if no one was watching.

Our films give you a chance to just relax. Enjoy the goofiness of baby animals, or the play of light through trees, or the relentless flow of water over rocks in the Canadian forest. Play them as background, or as aids to meditation, or to create a contemplative mood. Soothe the stress out of your day.

We truly love it.

This is a trailer for our gorgeous ragdoll kitten video. We spent a day filming these five beautiful little scamps. They snooze, they snuffle, they wake up, grab a bit of kibble, then they have a good pouncy play and finally all curl up together in one purring, slumbering heap of fur. It's a wonderful life, indeed.
