Every time you talk about the great Russian ballet, I will tell you the story of a young teacher from Brovary who was repeatedly r***d in front of her parents and then kidnapped by Russian villains. About dozens, maybe hundreds of r***d Ukrainian women. Often in the eyes of children. About 15-16-year-old girls from Borodyanka who suffered terrible violence from the Kadyrovites. About the bodies of five r***d young girls who were killed and left on the road. About this abomination "we will spend * hohlushek" in interceptions. Here is what I will tell you in response about the persecuted great Russian ballet.
Every time you tell me about great Russian composers, I will tell you the story of a girl in front of whom and her little brother in the basement of Mariupol, their mother died more than once. And then with the co**se of a dead mother, the children were forced to continue to hide in the basement from the shelling. About a boy from Gostomel, in front of whom Russian soldiers shot his father. And then they wanted to kill their son, but he survived. About a girl who was shot directly in the face. About a kid who ran away with his grandmother in a boat. Grandma drowned. And the boy has been wanted for almost a month. Here is what I will tell you in response about the persecuted great Russian composers.
Every time you tell me about the great Russian painting, I will tell you about the peaceful Ukrainians shot in the back in the Makariv district. And before they could shoot, the orcs tied their hands. About hundreds of co**ses on the streets of Bucha, Irpen, Gostomel. About mass graves in the yards of residential neighborhoods. Until recently, the mass graves of civilians were cozy and safe cities. Mass graves. In the 21st century. Here's what I'll tell you in return about the great Russian painting.
Every time you tell me about the great Russian theater, I will tell you the story of a woman from the Brovary district, from whose house Russian marauders retreated and removed metal tiles. About tanks and armored personnel carriers of the "Second Army of the World", loaded to the brim with robbers in Ukrainian homes. Stolen phones, tablets, TVs, washing machines, carpets, jewelry, bottles of alcohol, pans, clothes, toys, shoes - everything that happened to these freaks. When they got to Belarus, they sent their loot to Russia in advance. About how they stole stolen goods in Belarusian bazaars. Here is what I will tell you in response about the persecuted great Russian theater.
Every time you tell me about the great Russian cinema, I will tell you about the brutally shot horses in the stables in Kyiv region. About the animals of the zoo in Yasnogorodka, frozen by hunger and thirst. About deer skin burned after the explosion. And now the maximum savagery… About the alabai killed and eaten by the Russian occupiers. Yes, alabai. Yes, dogs. Yes, eaten. Here's what I'll tell you in return about the great Russian cinema.
Every time you tell me about the great Russian literature, I will tell you about dozens of interceptions of conversations of Russian soldiers with their mothers and wives. Conversations in which there is nothing but naya. Conversations in which wives order them to steal in Ukrainian homes. Conversations where mothers laugh when their sons tell how their cousins rape hohlushek. And if all mothers are thrown out of these conversations, they will be left with "hello" and "while". Here is what I will tell you in response to the oppressive great Russian literature.
There is no longer any great Russian culture, literature, cinema, painting, theater and ballet. There is a country of freaks, marauders, rapists and murderers. Wild people who have no place in the civilized world!
And long-suffering new Russian dissidents in the cozy apartments of Berlin, London, Larnaca, Milan, Tbilisi, Astana, Vienna and other temporary shelters, let them follow the route of the Russian ship, proudly carrying in their hands the great Russian culture!

p.s. If you can translate and distribute in all the languages available to you, do so. And it is better to copy, because they may well ban. The Russians are also very obnoxious. And not everyone will be banned.

Ukraine will survive — but the West should be ashamed.

People are currently dying in Europe, because of military invasion.

In their own homes.

The West, I know you can't get it. Your freedom wasn't denied for half of the century.

It's painful to watch when what happened in the 20th century is happening again. Ukraine will survive — but the West should be ashamed.

I call myself European. I was born in Lithuania, educated in UK & Denmark, and now live in Germany. I always believed in the idea of the EU, and Europe standing for human rights, but what we see today is rather insane.

I feel a moral responsibility to talk about this as a Lithuanian living in Germany. I am very sad that Germany is doing close to 0 to stop what is happening in Ukraine.

Bellow video made today:
"A Russian Military Ship telling 13 Ukrainian troops on Snake Island to surrender. They were met with a response of " Russian military Ship, go f**k yourself." The 13 Ukrainian soldiers were all killed but with dignity"

Commodity cards - vouchers - were issued once a month, their amount was determined by the amount of salary, and had to be used over a period of time. To buy goods in rubles, people had to add the same amount in coupons together. At first, 1 coupon was equal to 2 rubles, but for people it was too expensive until the unit price dropped to a ruble, then - up to 50 kopecks. Since October 1, 1992, coupons have been issued as the only legal tender in Lithuania - thus Lithuania has left the ruble zone.

"Temporary coupons, even circulating in the market along with rubles, immediately controlled ruble inflation. They were mainly intended to prevent Lithuania from being redeemed. For example, one day they give a pile of rubles, take your car, and the next day, when the state prints a lot more of them, they become worthless due to inflation, ”said economist R. Vainienė. According to the economist, although this money was of great importance to the state, it was "more like a game" than the introduction of a long-term currency.

Time for a bit of History and a bit of mystery 😎⌚✈️

Lituanica was a airplane flown from the US across the Atlantic Ocean by Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas in 1933. After successfully flying 6,411 km (4,043 miles), it crashed, due to undetermined circumstances, 650 km (404 miles) from its destination, Kaunas, Lithuania.

Chicago's Lithuanian community erected an Art Deco Monument commemorating Girėnas and Darius in Chicago's Marquette Park in 1935 where it still stands to this day. Feliksas Vaitkus was inspired by the flight and commemorated it with the flight of the Lituanica II in 1935.

The small town of Beverly Shores, Indiana (just west of Michigan City, Indiana), has another memorial to the Lituanica flight. There, in 1968, the American Lithuanian Club established a park and named it Lituanica Park after the Bellanca CH-300 used in the flight. In 1971, to honor the pilots, a large modern sculpture by J. Barkis was placed in the park's pond.

The flight is commemorated in a movie Skrydis per Atlantą (Flight over the Atlantic) (1983).

Olympics movie recommendation alert.😱 ⚠️🎥🏁

The Other Dream Team,  a basketball documentary about the Lithuanians’ journey to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

It revolves around the theme of how a basketball team brought a nation to prominence — in essence, taking the “dream team” definition to another level.

Lithuanian Olympic basketball team, basketball represents more than a sport, particularly considering Lithuania’s past clouded with annexation from the Soviet Union.

The joke of the day. Thanks for sharing to Linas Kojala.

Belarus forced down plane to seize dissident, EU leaders sees it as a ‘State Hijacking’, while Belarus is still claiming, as in the post made by Linas Kojala, that it was a coincidence.

Belarus claimed on Monday that they had received a message from Palestinian militant group Hamas threatening to blow up a Lithuania-bound flight over Belarusian airspace unless the European Union condemned Israel over the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Ryanair said in a statement on Sunday that it has "notified the relevant national and European safety and security agencies" after being diverted to Belarus and apologised to all affected passengers "for this regrettable delay, which was outside Ryanair's control."

"This is an attack on democracy,'' said Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission.

Let us know what do you think about these news.

https://www.facebook.com/linas.kojala/posts/10159464484392813

Lithuania's Foreign Ministry urgently recommends Lithuanian citizens against all travel to Belarus

Bearing in mind the incident of 23 May, when a ryanair passenger plane flying from Athens to Vilnius was forced to land, thus posing risks to the security and a threat to the lives of civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly recommends Lithuanian citizens against all travel to the Republic of Belarus and urges all Lithuanian citizens in Belarus to leave the country.

Lithuania: know it, love it

Lithuania, that little country you thought was Latvia, has a flourishing economy, a burgeoning cultural scene, and a surprisingly prominent international profile in world affairs. Despite this, my lovely Baltic homeland remains an enigma to a lot of my friends outside the country.

One big reason for this is a lack of resources about the country for outsiders. If you try to find information about what Lithuania is all about online, you’ll soon notice there aren’t a lot of great introductions to the country for those who are curious. So, a friend of mine and I came up with a solution - we decided to start a podcast that will feature interviews with some of Lithuania’s brightest leaders and thinkers in a format geared towards an international audience. What better way to introduce a nation to the world than through its people?

So, we’d like to introduce our new podcast, Lithuanian Dream, a podcast by Lithuanians but for the world. We hope you’ll follow us here on Soundcloud or Facebook. But before you do, whet your appetite for all things Lithuania by checking out some of the best introductions to the country below.

We are Ruta Naujokaite & Vytaute Rimkute, co-founders of Lithuanian Dream Podcast. Join us on our journey of seeing Lithuania through the eyes of dreamers who built this country.
