Sad to hear of the passing of Wes Craven. Creator of amongst other great films!
On-Line radio for music in the Greater Cincinnati Area! I look forward to serving everyone in the community with the best music on the planet.
In the process of building an online radio station that plays nothing but music from the local Greater Cincinnati area. I look forward to showing off the fact that we have some of the best talent around! This is the beginning of the launch of a fan-base that I honestly believe can put Cincinnati in the position to rival Atlanta, Memphis and Seattle! An official website will hopefully be up before too long!

I wanted to share this status/page with all of you on WRFGC. It's worth the read. Please like the page.
I have been contemplating writing this and sharing it for everyone to see. On Sunday morning I woke up and thought: Wow I think I will begin writing something about he**in addiction in Hollywood and how it could tie in to the “common folks” struggle. So I got up and started compiling a list of famous people who have admitted to abusing he**in. Does it surprise you that the way most of these public figures admitted their addiction wasn’t voluntary? We were let in on their secret because of their DEATHS!! I have compiled a listing and will include it for your viewing pleasure (nothing pleasurable about it) at the end of this posting. As I was gathering my information and thinking of my speaking points I got a message that Philip Seymour Hoffman had died and they were pretty sure it was of, what, you guessed it, a he**in overdose! So instantly I stopped my research and starting wondering if it was true that another family had lost their loved one because of this ugly monster, he**in. As by now, you know, yes he had. I thought it to be interesting how people started speculating that he died because the he**in was a bad batch! Isn’t every batch of he**in a bad batch? Yes, recently there were and continue to be more deaths because of Fentanyl-Laced he**in. As a side note, the Fentanyl that they are finding in these doses of he**in is not of the prescribed pharmaceutical manufactured nature, someone is making it in their own lab (that’s another conversation). As I was saying, yes he died of an overdose. The he**in was not part of the “bad batches”. They are now reporting sadly, that he had 70 bags in his apartment and that 5 of them were empty. Unfortunately, he used too much, didn’t know his limit, or plainly just didn’t care. Whatever it was, his number was called. This brings me to the ABC News picture I posted asking if anyone saw the ABC World NEWS Addiction in America piece. I can’t find it and most of the most recent mentions of he**in are all PSH related. I am sad that he lost his life, I am glad that this epidemic that is claiming our friends and loved ones is getting more recognition. Unfortunately for it to get people’s attention more tragedy has to occur. I see that the police have arrested 4 people in connection to the drugs that were found in the late actor’s apartment. I find this exciting but at the same time heart wrenching!! What about the supplier? What about the government that is letting this seep into OUR nation? Great, you got 4 people but what about the big picture!? Then, it makes me want to scream because what about you, the reader, that lost a loved one? Did they find your dealer; did they take that murderer off the street? Did they pursue it like they did when an American actor lost his long battle to addition? When I lost ONE of my very best friends, the police asked me many questions as to where he had been and who he had been with. Do you even think they asked me WHERE he had gotten it? No and people KNEW who sold him his final shot and he still walks the streets pumping the community with this poison. With this being said, please STAND with us at to make the changes not only our city needs but the changes our NATION needs. WE cannot do it ALONE but together we can stand strong! Let’s stop this EVIL in its tracks! Heather
PS - I am not stating we should turn in dealers or become vigilantes, so put up the super hero costumes! I’m merely suggesting that you stay with us on this ride and get passionate about taking the real issues by the balls and bringing them to their knees!

So, what's going on in the world of Cincinnati Talent this weekend?
Something I think worth posting again...any and all musicians, comedians and artists of any kind; whenever you have an event coming up, feel free to post them here in the comments. ;)
Okay, everybody, I got a big favor to ask. Secondly, If you know anyone that loves the local music scene, please invite them to this page. I intend on having this page very active from here on out.
Thirdly, if you have any videos on youtube: Please, Please, Please post the links here as comments so people can listen to and watch them and comment.
Last but not least, what do you guys think of t-shirts with the WRFGC logo as a way to raise money for the radio station?
I do apologize about the lack of attention lately. Just had a lot of personal stuff kind of hit all at once. So, how's everybody doing?
What do you think of a magazine similar to Rolling Stone that only has articles about local bands that haven't made it big yet?
I just turned on the "replies" option on the page! ;)
Okay, guys, figured I'd give a little status update. It's been a while and I do apologize. I've had a lot on my plate and I haven't been able to make the time that you guys deserve.
Things are a little slow and coming but I'm working with some computer software that might help me get the ball rolling on this local radio station. I'm also working on the Java/Html script for the website. Once the site is up and running I'll be able to start atleast running things from my laptop. I have some paperwork just about ready for local artists to sign for permissions for me to play their work.
I do promise, guys, that I am working on getting there. I just apologize that it's taking a lot longer than expected.
If any local Bands/Comdians/Artists have any videos that you would be okay with being uploaded to WRFGC's YouTube page, please comment on here that you are sending me one and send it to [email protected]
