Meet our second Alumni Spotlight of the week: Maya Table
Maya Table is a Georgia State University alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media. Maya is the owner and head of Production & Creative at Sam Frank Productions, a company that serves as an executive collaborative. This company alone has produced hundreds of pieces of content over the last sixteen years, ranging from scripts, films, promotions, commercials, and live events. They are responsible for producing Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel” music video, Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” music video, and they hired a ninety percent female crew for OWN TV’s “The Know” web series.
Maya has directed a wide range of short films, music videos, and digital content for renowned brands such as Hulu, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Google, and more. She has also directed music videos for big-name artists like Lil Wayne, Offset, and Travis Scott. Additionally, Table wrote and directed three shorts: “Reclaiming Nappy” (Facebook 2019 Sundance Festival), “Dating App” (FoxSoul), and “Hit The Road” (BWFN Best Editing).
Among numerous accomplishments, this recognized 2021 Adweek Creative 100 Visionary Director and Adobe Mentor has made her mark in the entertainment industry, and we at MTM Standard thank her for the amazing work she has done over the years!
