Encore Tricolore!

Vibrant colourful carrots this week to brighten the dark and cold November evenings.

These purple, yellow and orange carrots have been grown by an organic farmer in Norfolk, and they’re already making their way out to all of our customers. We hope you enjoy 🌈

A few weeks ago Sonia was invited to feature on the Reduction Raider podcast.

Hear about what's going on in the world of veg at this time of year (peak Hungry Gap), community opportunities at the farm, the importance of supporting nature-friendly farming, and why eating with the seasons is so exciting!

Thank you to podcast host Laura for supporting Sutton Community Farm. Listen to the full interview here: https://spoti.fi/41hazRV

Head of Production Rachel was pretty chuffed with these leeks! She’s also excited we are recruiting a GROWING TRAINEE for 2023/2024.

Rachel started at the farm in 2017 as a Growing Trainee, and now along with fellow Head of Production Nick (our 2018 Trainee), they are running the show! Rachel and Nick are responsible for all food growing on the farm, and management of the site.

What a journey…

You’ve got just over a week to apply to become our new Growing Trainee, to start in June or July, on a fixed term contract until November 2024.

Deadline for applications Sunday 21 May.

Get paid to learn how to grow food! Join our team and work on our farm. It’s very nice 🌱🌱🌱
