Is Uveitis Serious?

Uveitis is among serious Retinal eye diseases. The retina is the light sensitive part of the eye that focuses the images you see and sends them to brain. It's normally red due to its blood supply from the uvea, uveitis is usually not serious. More severe can cause vision loss if not treated early.

Uveitis: It is the inflammation that primarily effects the uvea, the middle layer of your eye. Produces swelling in the eye tissue over time if left untreated.

What is Uvea?

The Uvea is composed of three Parts IRIS, CILIARY BODY and CHOROID.
