Hey everyone.

I know I said I will be taking a month off to build backlog back in December....while I kinda lied about it by mistake, and with some life events happening right now, I am afraid that there is no set date to return to regular episode uploads as these life events take priority. Health wise I am perfectly fine so no need to worry.

So....we dumb at times, this is the first time we have been on facebook and looking at the page to realize we were still in the Holiday attire! we fixed it now! Hopefully, we will be back soon giving you great content! just trying to build a backlog so we don't stress out our producer (who is also the host, the editor, social media manager, halp)

All good things must come to an end.

Super glad to have gotten to interview the two of you to help jump start The Post Mortem Media Review. Thank you to Rachel for all of you encouragement to get this rolling out, and thank you to Cody for giving me some pointers and resources to help this podcast succeed!

How this affects this Podcast: Rachel and Cody are always welcome on the Podcast anytime (since I would love to interview the Side Quest Guys this year if possible). Rachel is retiring from Podcasting, she sadly won't be a regular on the podcast anymore like she was. As a co-host.

We wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors, and hope to hear your lovely voices on the air (hopefully with us) down the road.

Sometimes, knowing how to start can be really hard. Other times, knowing how to end is the hard part.

We started our podcast three years ago. Three years of growth, inspiration, and amazing guests, and we've loved every minute of it. But priorities change, people grow, and something that was previously helping you achieve our goals started to do the opposite.

Rachel and I have loved making this podcast. It has been incredible to read messages of support from those we know, and those we don't. Neither of us wanted to stop recording episodes, but each episode became harder and harder to pull off, both because of scheduling and other priorities. We decided to record one more episode, to say goodbye, but then to retire our podcast at the end of 2020.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you to our guests, who week after week inspired us to be better, to remind us we deserve to be happy and achieve our dreams. Thank you to our spouses, families and friends, who have supported us by sharing our posts, listening to our complaints and helping us grow.

But most of all, thank you to our fans. If you found our podcast because you needed help, we love you and hope you find someplace else to get that needed inspiration. You were truly the reason we never wanted to quit!

We've recorded one last episode: saying goodbye, explaining why we're stopping, and what we're doing next. Listen anywhere you get your podcasts.

I noticed this when I got to my parents place when I got here, and it was my September 2010 issue of Nintendo Power. Just over 10 years ago, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was "Cutting-edge" by showing off the Wii-mote Plus.

And that is what the Podcast is about, looking and appreciate the past, so we can see how far we have come in Media and Technology.

So, I thought I would have posted this later down the road, but after the past few weeks, and last weekend being super eventful in a good way, I need to take a break for a week or two to get some rest and to build up a backlog so this burn out doesn't happen.

This year is going to be very tough on people one way or another due to COVID, and from all of us, we want to wish you a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We know this year might be tough for you, but next episode will be super awesome (hopefully)! But for now, enjoy this week!

Hi Everyone!

I was taking a listen to a couple episodes today, and I just realized I had some lazy editing and didn't remove the parts where we were watching a clip! I am super sorry on my part for leaving major dead zones in those episodes, and I have gone through and fixed all the errors in the recordings! Hopefully, this shouldn't be a problem in the future, but mistakes happen!

I am just glad I can edit the episodes after being posted and have it correct itself on all the other platforms!

So, you guys are getting an extra special treat this week since Halloween is up in the air. While trying to record the intro for this week's intro, I kept wanting to talk about community, and the recording sessions kept getting longer, and longer. From 2 Minutes to 5 Minutes to 12 minutes! in the end, I decided I would try something out and make a bonus episode for you all. That will come out on October 28th at 9am. haven't wanted to talk about something and dedicate an episode to it, and I think it's as good of time as any to share my thoughts. This will not affect either Episode 6 or Episode 7 coming out what so ever! it's just a little bonus bit I wanted to do. Hope you enjoy these 3 episodes coming over the next little over a week!

So, after some thought - The Post Mortem Media Review will be having the Explicit Tag be used in some future episodes coming out. The reason is, as I figured in this recording session, some of the topics aren't the more child friendly, and I aim for more of a PG to PG-13 audience, so the explicit tag means we have crossed into PG-13 territory.

That being said, for at least Episode 6 and 8 (if can get the Halloween Special organized) we will be throwing on the Explicit tag on those episodes since they either deal with horror (with the blood and murder of Halloween Movies) or more sexual topics of some DC Animations as we found out during research this week.

This isn't going to be the norm, but I also don't want to freak everyone out that I am going to be dropping F-bombs every other sentence. This is me playing it safe as I am still learning the rules of the road when it comes to podcasting.

Hope you all are excited about this week's episode though since we have some good discussion along with some funny moments

Should advise - Social media posts from us might be a less then usual from us due internet access. But don't worry, Episode 2 is up now, have some extra links to share since we weren't able to fit it in the description of the podcast, and Episode 3 just needs to have one last bit of recording (just the intro bit that gets recorded just before publishing) and it's set to publish next week as well!
