Eilean Donan Castle
The first fortified structure was likely built on the small island in the 12th or 13th century to protect the lands of Kintail.
The structure has changed many times over the years, with the castle being garrisoned, lying in ruins in the 1700s.
In 1911 reconstruction work began and after 20 years were completed, the castle returned to its former glory.

Mountains, ocean and lots of palm trees… it’s a beautiful place to be!
