A movie that has been on my watch list for quite some time.
Lately, all my expectations regarding movies are being thrashed and IB 71 was no different.
IB 71 is a movie about a top-secret mission of India which proved to be instrumental in leading us to victory in the indo pak war 1971.
I expected this movie to be something like Commando with unreal action and hero scenes that led to India's victory but I was proved wrong. This movie shows a nice setting of the PAK theory of the conspiracy plotted by India to ban air space for Pakistan in order to buy some time for preparation for war.
There is no unwanted masala violence with only one scene in the entire movie having some violent encounter.
The cast was good with some known faces like Anupam Kher, Vidyut Jammwal, Dilip Tahil, and others. I have never seen Vidyut in such a role but he nailed it beautifully.
In my honest opinion if you're watching this movie was some masala and action, then this movie might not be for you, however, if you're watching it because you like conspiracy theories and a slow-burn mystery thriller, then you must definitely watch this movie.
I am no expert in cinema but I will rate this movie 7/10

I created this page because I wanted to get into cinema and explore gems of the global cinematic world.
It was past 12 am and I was wondering what to watch and I stumbled across this movie on Hotstar which was very much appreciated back in 2018 when it was released.
It was a very light-hearted movie and I had my own share of laughter and emo moments throughout the movie.
The storyline revolves around a 25-year-old Nakul (Ayushman) finding out his mother got pregnant at an age when it was his time to get married. He gets very embarrassed and distances himself from his family and society. Will he ever get over the fact and accept his soon-to-be-born sibling?
There was no forced comedy and some scenes of the movie were super funny.
One thing I liked about the movie is the fact that I was able to connect with the family and by the end of the movie was able to enjoy the scene of the delivery of the baby at the hospital with everyone present as if they were my own.
The cast was just spot on with Sanya Malhotra surprising me with her acting skills.
Overall for me, it was a nice ride and based on the mood setting I had, watching Bdahai Ho was a wise decision.
I am no expert in cinema but I will like to rate the movie 7/10.

Just watched the movie last night and here I am with my honest opinions on OMG2.
NGL I was expecting something very similar to part 1 of the OMG series, however, I am glad that I was proved wrong because this movie is something different than the first part. The movie was rated 'A' but the message was for s*x education for tweens and teens which I did not understand the concept of not having them as your audience for the movie. The story pace was good, and I liked how they covered the city of UJJAIN in the movie. The message picked up by the filmmakers was good and necessary too. Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi are some of the most fine actors in Bollywood and irrespective of the common opinion that Pankaj has been delivering monotonous and similar line performances recently, I believe he did a great job.
My suggestions for improvement which I felt while watching the movie was that Akshay Kumar plays such a strong role of Mahadev's messenger and could have had more screen time and a more impactful hype entry (being a KGF fanatic I like everything a bit hype)
Overall the movie is a must-watch and definitely worth the time and money.
I am no expert in cinema but I will rank the movie 7/10

OPPENHEIMER REVIEW BY PHOENIX SOMAIYA
"Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds!"
The movie starts and ends with a banger (quite literally).
I will like to start off by saying that the movie is more admirable than awe-inspiring.
This time Christopher Nolan has taken an interest in the life and struggles of a common man even if that common man is J. Rober Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb.
The question I asked before and after entering the theatre is, Will I know more about the protagonist after watching the movie, the answer is both yes and no.
Yes, because I know more about the life and timeline of Oppenheimer like about his academics and his career path.
No, because I couldn't get a detailed account of how Oppenheimer is a person and a deep dive into his feelings and emotions after detonating the bomb.
Characters like Jean and Kitty are seriously underwritten and deserved more screen time. After showing frustration from handling their first child Kitty seemed more like a title holder than an important character in Oppenheimer's life. Even Jean could've been given more screen time so that the grief Oppenheimer feels in the tree scene could've been more impactful.
The quoting of GEETA and the impact of the bomb in the Trinity test feels rather sacred. The silence before the thundering impact of the test is a cinematic experience at its finest.
The cast was just perfect and the acting of Cillian and Robert Downey Jr. was one of the finest performances of their career.
The cloud of the bomb blast and the painful silence and the look on Oppenehimer's face show and make us feel the emotion that humanity is changed forever and this is what the wrath of god looks like.
The ending conversation between Einstein and Oppenheimer is very well written and shows the evident horror on the face of Oppenheimer and how his own creation doomed humanity forever.
I am no expert in cinema but I will rate this movie on the following metrics:
STORY: 8/10
CAST: 9/10
OVERALL RATING: 8.5/10
