Overview -
A line of strong to severe storms moved through Southeast
Texas during the afternoon hours on Thursday, December 26th
2024 that produced five tornadoes: two EF-1s and three EF-0s.
The details below were compiled using storm survey information,
radar imagery, and public and storm spotter reports.

Tornado Currently Moving Towards Dickinson!! **Tornado Warning!**

⚠️ **What’s happening?**
- A tornado-producing storm is near Santa Fe, moving northeast at 20 mph.

📍 **Who is affected?**
- Northwestern Galveston, northeastern Brazoria, and southeastern Harris Counties in Texas.

⏰ **When?**
- Until 2:00 PM CST.

🔴 **What’s the danger?**
- Damaging tornado and quarter-sized hail: Flying debris can hurt or kill, mobile homes may be destroyed, and damage to roofs, windows, cars, and trees is possible.

📌 **Specific areas in danger:**
- Around 1:30 PM: Eastern League City, Texas City, Dickinson, La Marque, and Santa Fe.
- Around 1:35 PM: Kemah and Clear Lake Shores.

🚨 **What to do NOW:**
- Get to a safe place: basement or small, windowless room on the lowest floor.
- Stay away from windows.
- If you’re outside, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, find a safe shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

📍 **Who is affected?**
- West central Galveston and northeastern Brazoria Counties in Texas.

⏰ **When?**
- Until 1:30 PM CST.

🔴 **What’s the danger?**
- Tornado with possible quarter-sized hail: Flying debris can cause serious harm, mobile homes could be destroyed, and roofs, windows, cars, and trees may be damaged.

📌 **Specific areas in danger:**
- Around 1:05 PM: Southwestern League City, southern Friendswood, Alvin, Santa Fe, and Hillcrest.

🚨 **What to do NOW:**

📍 **Who is affected?**
- Parts of Montgomery, Liberty, and Harris Counties in Texas.

⏰ **When?**
- Until 1:15 PM CST.

🔴 **What’s the danger?**
- Tornado: Flying debris can hurt or kill, mobile homes might be destroyed, and roofs, windows, cars, and trees could be damaged.

📌 **Specific areas in danger:**
- Plum Grove around 12:45 PM.
- Other areas: Moss Hill and Tarkington Prairie.

Correlation coefficient slice shows debris was lofted 15,000 feet into the atmosphere just west of Splendora, TX 10 minutes ago. Tornado has weakened a bit, stay in shelter Cleveland TX.
