Every time I shower I end with freezing cold water...building my resilience so I can do it for a few mins. I looooove having a cold shower - I mean, it's really hard, but I love how I feel when I do.
It wakes me up, reduces the inflammation in my varicose veins, helps me detox, and makes me feel damn good, overall....especially after a nice hot sauna ;-)

Here we go. Dr. Robert Cassar, whom I followed when I was vegan, explains pretty succinctly, in this short video, why we need to make the shift away from a plant based diet, to a "creature" or animal based diet. Like me, he got really sick too, eating vegan, and finally got the message....plants are trying to kill you! LOL
I had huge respect for him then, and even more so now, admitting he was wrong publicly, and making the change even though I'm sure it negatively impacted his following, business, and revenue streams...but certainly seems to have positively impacted his health and that's what really matters ;-)

I have learned the hard way that humans NEED meat and animal fat in their diet to be truly healthy and that many plants can be very toxic to humans due to oxalate poisoning.
Sally Norton has taught me soooo much about the missing link in my, and so many people's, chronic health issues. I am over 4 months without an epileptic seizure which isn't normal for me. Low oxalate, animal based eating for the win! So far, so good anyway ;-)
Thank you Sally for opening my eyes after so many years of struggling to find the answers, at times, blindly

Eat more eggs....they are full of good nutrition and lots of different ways to cook them.
My fave is straight up cast iron pan fried bacon and eggs over medium with slices of cheese to complete the meal.
