Our page started in 2020, when restaurants had to stop their operations entirely because of the lockdown. We asked for people who loved dining out to share their favorite dining stories before the pandemic hit the country. We wanted to amplify your support for the restaurant industry, including everyone who works hard for their continued operations. Your pre-pandemic dining stories have reminded e

veryone what it felt like to have a sense of normalcy. This page was inspired by the past and people’s nostalgic memories of dining out. Now that the restaurant industry is starting to bounce back, we want to keep supporting them with you. This time, we would like to know your own stories when you're dining out. Why We Dine by HERO

Why We Dine is an initiative by Hero Kitchen Detailers Inc to share stories of people’s dining experiences and love for their food at their favorite restaurants. This campaign aims to build and tighten the connection between food businesses and their customers who miss going out to eat, whether they’re alone, with a significant other, friends or family.

Why We Do It

We have been working with more than 100 restaurants for 10 years. Due to the community-wide quarantine, they have been forced to pause their operations for several weeks. Before COVID-19, we have seen how challenging it can be for restaurants to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and safety for their customers. Now the pandemic crisis has put everyone in a situation wherein we have to ensure our own survival before anything else.

The ripple effect of COVID-19 in the food businesses is very profound. One restaurant closing down can affect so many people at the same time. Daily wage earners are either forced to stay home or have to go to work despite the lack of available public transportation. The customers, restaurant owners and staff, suppliers, delivery riders and truck drivers are not the only ones affected. As a pest control service provider for restaurants, we too have been affected gravely. Our HERO team had to adapt and find ways to make sure that our technicians still have a source of income.
