Batad Rice Terraces, one of the five clusters of the world-famous rice terraces that are inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, is located in a village of Banaue. Surrounded by immense rice terraces scaling from top to bottom of the mountain ranges, it resembles a gigantic amphitheater, which served as the identity of this rice terraces among others. This is a famous side trip to many local and international tourists when visiting Banaue. It is dubbed as the most magnificent of all the rice terraces in Ifugao and it takes more effort to climb up the hill to witness this remarkable man-made wonder that carved the history and culture of the Ifugao.

The Tappiya Waterfalls is a hidden treasure in the Ifugao province in Philippines. At 700 m a.s.l fed by the tropical forests in high altitude, and reached only on foot passing from the 2000 year old Rice Terraces in Batad Village are a wonderful sight for the adventurous tourists.

How to get there?
• From Manila (Cubao) Ride a CODA Bus line, Manila - Banaue ( P575 - 650 ) Daily trip start 8pm, 9pm, 10pm and last trip 10.30pm.
• Upon Arrival to Banaue, look for the jeepney at terminal infront of public market going to Batad Town proper (Saddle point). Have only 2 trip per day (9am and 3pm). If you miss the public jeepney, just ride a tricycle or private jeepney mahal nga lang.
• Once you arrive in Batad just pay P50 for Batad environmental fee.

Where do you stay?
• Ramon’s homestay (p350 per head) for best view or marami naman choices doon.
• They serve meals breakfast - dinner (p150-250) They serve local coffee, masarap nakaka 2-3 times ako mag coffee (p50) if nagtitipid magbaon nalang ng foods.

✔️Tips
• Huwag na magdala ng marami gamit or mabibigat na bagay medjo mahirap akyat, baba at trekking.
• Marami nag ooffer ng tour package and tourguide, If mag hire kayo ng tour guide, I suggest sa homestay nalang kayo mag hire mas cheap compare sa labas.
• Magdala ng powerbank in case brown out.
• Wala po signal sa Batad.
• March - April (Greenest), June - July (Harvest)

📌 1st day
•Matt's hotel overnight stay galing Kami Legazpi
• Check out ng 6am, Sakay ng tryke to Robinsons mall. Van travel going to Caramoan ( p260) 5 -6 hours trip.
• Ask kay kuya driver ibaba sa barangay Paniman. Sakay ng habal habal or tricycle to Caramoan.
• Check in, may nacontact na ako for our accommodations and boat rental. Pero marami naman option doon na mga transients (1000-2000).
• after lunch na kami nag decide na mag Island hopping ( short trip)
• Dinner time stroll stroll lang doon marami naman option na gusto nyo.

📌 2nd day
• Breakfast
• 7am start ng Island hopping ( long trip ) namin maaga daw para maabutan pa mga sandbars. Mag dala kayo ng pera maari magpaluto ng seafoods sa floating cottage. P50 entrance sa contivas island. P50 sa Guinahoan light house.
•Chill time, star gazing

📌 3rd day
• Check out ng 8am. Sakay ng habal habal (p60) sa bayan. Bus terminal going to Naga.
• Bus terminal Naga to Pasay.

(DIY Itinerary)
• Pasay or cubao bus terminal going to Legazpi p800 (10 - 11 hours). I suggest na gabi nalang kayo umalis pagdating sa 1st stop start na agad.
• Kanto ng Sumlang sakay ng tricycle (10 pesos/pax) to Sumlang lake ( p50 entrance fee).
• Nag offer si kuya driver free service to Bicolandia Atv.
• Atv black lava trail ( 1,800/pax) nadiscount namin ng 1,600 for 3 hours
• lakad ng kaunti makikita ang Casagwa ruins ( p60 ang entrance )
• Tricycle Casagwa ruins to Daraga Church ( p150 ).
• Daraga Church sa may baba may shell gasoline station may mga van papuntang Naga.
• kanto ng CWC sakay ng tricycle to CWC. Wakeboarding ( less than p200/ hour ).
• Along the highway sakay ng Bus going to Naga.
• Naga Bus terminal walking distance Sm Naga must try po Sili Ice cream, may level ang spicy Level 1,2,3 and volcano dipende sa kaya nyo.
